Sword Drill- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19

“Always be joyful.  Pray continually, and give thanks whatever happens.  That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus.”

BE JOYFUL:

1 Thessalonians 5:13b-16:
“Live in peace with each other.  We ask you, brothers and sisters, to warn those who do not work.  Encourage the people who are afraid.  Help those who are weak.  Be patient with everyone.  Be sure that no one pays wrong for wrong, but always try to do what is good for each other and for all people.”

PRAY CONTINUALLY, GIVE THANKS:

We had talked about prayer how we should give glory to God and thank Him, then we said you need to make pinpoint prayers.  Then we talked about how you need to pray BIG prayers, because God hears all of our prayers.  Now we need to learn how we need to pray continuously.

There is no yellow or red light in prayer…we are to always see the GREEN light.
