Today is Missions Sunday. Our special missionary guests are Terry and Debbie Waisner. They are with Asia Pacific Ministry. “Thank you” for your continued giving to the ministry of missions.

SPECIAL GUEST: LARRY LISTER
SUNDAY, JANUARY 10TH AT 9:15 AM
Larry Lister with the Assemblies of God Financial Solutions will be with us on Sunday, January 10th during the Sunday school hour at 9:15 am. He will be discussing various financial matters that will be of interest to everyone. We will have a joint Sunday school class with him in the sanctuary at 9:15 am. He will be speaking in the 6:00 pm service tonight.

Please mark the date of Saturday, January 16th for a Leadership Conference to be held in the gym from 10:00am until 2:00pm. If you have served in the following ministries of Maranatha, or you are serving now, you are invited to this conference: Elder, Deacon, Greeters,S.S. Teachers, Children’s Church, Royal Rangers, Missionettes, Youth, Prayer Counselors, Small Group Leaders, Ushers, Women’s and Men’s Ministries and Hospital Visitation. We will be discussing our worship format for Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. We need your input and help!! Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Tia – 423-2452.
WEEK OF PRAYER 2010
Please mark your calendars to attend daily prayer services from noon to 1:00pm January 4th – 8th. A Prayer Watch is planned for Saturday January 9th and we are asking everyone to prayerfully consider signing up in the lobby for a one-1/2 hour of prayer time between 6:00am and 5:00pm. This prayer watch will lead up to a Time of Corporate Agreement and Praise at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary on Saturday, January 9th.
There will be a special midweek prayer service on
Wednesday, January 6th at 7:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Children’s classes will not meet.
Prayer cards are provided in today’s bulletin for you prayer requests and will be prayer for during the week of prayer. After filling out prayer cards please place in offering plate or left at the Information Booth.

ROYAL RANGERS
Winter Camp 2010
The Discovery, Adventure, and Expedition Rangers (grades 3-12) will be attending the 2010 Winter Camp at Camp Awana in Fredonia, Wisconsin. The camp will be Friday – Sunday, January 29th – 31st, 2010.

Victoria McCarter , wife of State Senator Kyle McCarter, will be speaking on “Health For Body and Soul” here at Maranatha. Please start inviting friends and neighbors now, as this is an evangelistic event. Tickets are required for this event and will be on sale at Berean bookstore for $7.00.

Attention all Business & Professionals, including retired persons. Join us for POWER LUNCH, Tuesday, January 5th at The Decatur Club. Our special guest this month is Sharon Schilawski of Pro Max Construction. The lunch is from 12:00 until 1:00 pm and is on the third floor. The only charge is for the buffet – $10.50. MEN’S MINISTRY

There will be a Men’s Breakfast on January 9th at 8:00 am. We will have a full breakfast from 8 to 8:30 am and then we will pray from 8:30 to 9:00. Come and join us for food and fellowship and a time of pray.
SERMON SERIES
Beginning on Sunday, January 10th, Pastor Doug Lowery will begin a series of sermons on “Faith & Finances”.
32ND ANNIVERSARY
Maranatha Assembly will be 32 years old on
January 8th. Next Sunday, January 10th, we will celebrate 32 years of ministering together with a “finger food fellowship” after the evening service. Please bring enough food for your family and to share. Come and help us celebrate what the Lord has done.
