PASTOR’S CHRISTMAS OFFERING
Would you like to bless your Pastors with a Christmas gift? If your answer is “yes”, the Deacon Board asks that you place your gift in the offering plate before the end of the year. Please mark your envelope “Pastor’s Christmas”. The amount collected will be divided equally between all of our Pastors.

We WILL HAVE services this Wednesday evening (Dec. 30th) at 7:00pm.
The Maranatha Offices WILL BE CLOSED on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The church WILL BE OPEN for prayer and communion on New Year’s Eve from 9pm to midnight. We will be praying for revival and for our country.
WEEK OF PRAYER
JANUARY 4TH – 9TH 2010
Please mark your calendars to attend daily prayer services from noon to 1:00pm January 4th – 8th. A one-half prayer watch is planned for Saturday January 9th and we are asking everyone to prayerfully consider signing up in the lobby for a one-half hour of prayer time between 6:00am and 5:00pm. This prayer watch will lead up to a Time of Corporate Agreement and Praise at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary on Saturday, January 9th.

Please mark the date of Saturday, January 16th for a Leadership Conference to be held in the gym from 10:00am until 2:00pm. If you have served in the following ministries of Maranatha, or you are serving now, you are invited to this conference: Elder, Deacon, Greeters,S.S. Teachers, Children’s Church, Royal Rangers, Missionettes, Youth, Prayer Counselors, Small Group Leaders, Ushers, Women’s and Men’s Ministries and Hospital Visitation. We will be discussing our worship format for Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. We need your input and help!! Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Tia – 423-2452.
PARADYM
Pastor Nathan Goodin
There is Paradym Youth service this Wednesday (December 30th), although the Youth Diner will be closed. Our volunteers will be running the diner for our New Year’s Eve CRUSH on Thursday night (December 31st). They will have the night off on Wednesday the 30th. Please note, during CRUSH, the Diner will be available at its regular prices. Have a great New Year!!
Youth CAT
Our creative Arts Team (CAT) is offering a drama and skit workshop this Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am – 4pm at the Youth Center. This is for any students 7th – 12th grades wanting to condition their dramatic skills. Call Rachael for more information at 433-8545.
ROYAL RANGERS
Winter Camp 2010
The Discovery, Adventure, and Expedition Rangers (grades 3-12) will be attending the 2010 Winter Camp at Camp Awana in Fredonia, Wisconsin. The camp will be Friday – Sunday, January 29th – 31st, 2010. The cost is $100.00 per person and a pre-registration fee of $35.00 (applied toward the $100.00) is due to Commander Doug Cawthon by Wednesday, December 23, 2009. POWER LUNCH
Attention all Business & Professionals, including retired persons. Join us for POWER LUNCH, Tuesday, January 5th at The Decatur Club. Our special guest this month is Sharon Schilawski of Pro Max Construction. The lunch is from 12:00 until 1:00 pm and is on the third floor. The only charge is for the buffet – $10.50. For reservations, please call Tia at the church office to make your reservation.
MEN’S MINISTRY
Pastor Jack
There will be a Men’s Breakfast on January 9th at 8:00 am. We will have a full breakfast from 8 to 8:30 am and then we will pray from 8:30 to 9:00. Come and join us for food and fellowship and a time of pray.
CHOIR
There is No Choir practice on December 30th. See you Sunday January 3rd at 10:00 am in the Choir Room. There Is Praise Band practice at 6 pm on Wednesday, December 30th.
