“DOING LIFE TOGETHER” EMPHASIS
We’re looking for Host Homes!
Last week, we started asking people to offer to host a Doing Life Together small group in their homes, and already several have signed up! But we need more! We want to have 50 homes so that everyone in our congregation can be in a small group study. Will you consider opening your home to a group for the six weeks of the Emphasis, from September 27th through November 3rd ? All you need is a TV and DVD player, and be willing to invite some people to join you. The DVD does the teaching, and if you don’t feel comfortable leading a discussion, we will team you up with a discussion leader that can help your group explore how to Pray Big. Please complete the Host Home Sign-up Card in your bulletin and either place it in the offering or take it to the Doing Life Together table in the church foyer.

Discovery Rangers Pool Party
All boys going into 3rd through 5th grade are invited to a pool party at Commander Doug Cawthon’s house to kick off a new year of Royal Rangers. The party will be Sunday afternoon, August 23rd from 12:30pm – 3:00pm. Lunch will be provided and Dads are welcome to stay and join us. Come help us get this year started with some fun!!! MARANATHA MEMBERSHIP CLASS
Pastor Doug will be teaching a “New Members Class” in the Hospitality Room for those who would like to become voting members of Maranatha. The classes will begin on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30pm. The classes will be for 4 weeks. Mark your calendar:
