DOING LIFE TOGETHER EMPHASIS
Join a Doing Life Together Small Group!
Next week our Doing Life Together Emphasis begins, and so do the small groups! Whether you are single, married, divorced, male, female, with or without kids, young or young at heart, there is a small group for you! These groups are forming now, and will gather weekly during the Emphasis (Sept. 28 – Nov. 1) to study the book Pray Big. Invite a friend to join you for this interactive study that gives a deeper understanding of the power of prayer while building friendships with others in our church. Complete the response form in the bulletin and drop it in the offering, and a Host in your area will contact you this week. Or, visit the Doing Life Together information table and look over the list of Host Homes that are available, and contact the Host of the group you wish to join.
Host Home Leaders’ Training will be held in the Hospitality Room today from 5:00pm to 5:45pm for hosts/leaders who were not able to attend last week’s training session.

DECATUR YOUTH RALLY
This Wednesday night, 6:30 – 8:30pm, Paradym Youth will unite together with other youth groups from around the city at STEPHEN-DECATUR MIDDLE SCHOOL to pray for our schools and worship God. There will be NO REGULAR PARADYM SERVICE. Please drop your students off and pick them up at Stephen Decatur. There will be a shuttle available for those who need a ride. We will be finished at 8:30pm. The shuttle will return to the Youth Center at 9:00pm.

We will be at the Decatur Youth Rally!!
YOUTH BON FIRE!!
For all youth 7th – 12th grade, we are having an amazing fall night at Pastors Doug & Rosemary’s home this Thursday from 7:00-9:00pm. Capture the flag, smores, and just a great time around the fire. The address is 4020 W. Rock Springs Road. Please call Pastor Nathan at 358-6903 with any questions.
YOUTH CONVENTION ‘09
Thousands of students from around the state will come together for 2 days of experiencing God. Momentum presents “Overflow” October 30th and 31st in Springfield, IL. The cost is $85 if turned in by THIS WEDNESDAY, September 23rd, $110.00 thereafter. Pick up a registration flyer at the Information Table.
MARANATHA NEW MEMBERS CLASS
Pastor Doug will be teaching a “New Members Class” in the Hospitality Room for those who would like to become members of Maranatha Assembly. The classes began on Tuesday, September 15th but you can still attend the following two classes.:
